Germany boss Joachim Low dismisses calls for his team to play more attractive football.

Germany boss Joachim Low has hit back at critics who have branded his team boring.

The Group B winners, who have won all three of their Euro 2012 matches so far by a single-goal margin, have been criticised by some sections of their national media for failing to reproduce the scintillating form that they displayed at the 2010 World Cup, where they scored 16 goals.

Speaking to reporters, a defiant Low said: "You think we have veered away from our attractive football?

"We beat Holland and Portugal after learning from conceding five against the Swiss [in a pre-tournament friendly] that we had to find the right balance between defence and a strong attack.

"If we were playing Brazil in a friendly match, then you can play with an exciting all-out attack but not in a tournament."

Next up for Germany is a quarter-final clash with Greece in Gdansk on Friday.
