Tuesday's Champions League predictions including PSV vs. Monaco

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Champions League fixtures, including PSV Eindhoven vs. Monaco.

Zalgiris vs. Bodo/Glimt (Tuesday, 5.00pm)

FK Zalgiris will face off in Lithuania on Tuesday in the second leg of their Champions League third-qualifying-round tie.

The Norwegian visitors arrive with a 5-0 lead after their home game and will look to complete the job and progress towards what would be their first group-stage appearance in Europe's premier competition.

We say: FK Zalgiris 1-3 Bodo/Glimt (Bodo/Glimt win 8-1 on aggregate)

With very little to lose, FK Zalgiris should come out and attack from the first whistle on Tuesday, but we see that giving the visitors plenty of chances to use their quality and exploit defensive gaps.

While another thrashing may not occur, we do anticipate Den Gule Horden stretching their lead further in Lithuania.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Plzen vs. Sheriff Tiraspol (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

As their hopes of emulating last season's run hang by a thread, Sheriff Tiraspol visit Czech champions Viktoria Plzen in the third round of Champions League qualifying on Tuesday.

Having held their own in the group stage last autumn, Sheriff trail 2-1 from the first leg in Transnistria, and need a positive result to progress past a home side still unbeaten this term.

We say: Viktoria Plzen 2-1 Sheriff Tiraspol (Viktoria Plzen win 4-2 on aggregate)

Given their apparent ability to score goals at will this season - they have found the net at least in all five of their competitive games so far - the hosts are unlikely to be perturbed if Sheriff pull level on aggregate at some stage.

Though it may not be straightforward, it is Viktoria Plzen's name that will therefore go into the hat for the playoff round draw.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

Pyunik vs. Red Star (Tuesday, 6.00pm)

Pyunik will welcome Red Star Belgrade to Armenia on Tuesday for the second leg of their Champions League third-qualifying-round tie.

The visitors arrive with a 5-0 lead after their home leg and will be keen to advance to the playoff round with another dominant display.

We say: FC Pyunik 0-3 Red Star Belgrade (Red Star Belgrade win 8-0 on aggregate)

FC Pyunik come in with very little to lose, given the large deficit already, but we seen Red Star Belgrade simply being too strong and punishing their opponents who will likely overcommit going forward.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Midtjylland vs. Benfica (Tuesday, 6.45pm)

FC Midtjylland host Benfica in the third-round of Champions League Qualifying on Tuesday.

The Danes lost 4-1 in Portugal in the first leg last week, so have it all to do if they are to remain in Europe's elite competition.

We say: FC Midtjylland 1-3 Benfica

We can envisage another comfortable victory for Benfica to move themselves within one tie of the Champions League group stage.

They outclassed Midtjylland in the first leg and while it would be no surprise to see the Danish side score again, the visitors surely have too much firepower for them to handle.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Dinamo Zagreb vs. Ludogorets (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Dinamo Zagreb take on Ludogorets Razgrad in the third-round of Champions League Qualifying on Tuesday.

The Croatian champions head into the home match as favourites to progress having won 2-1 in Bulgaria last week.

We say: Dinamo Zagreb 2-1 Ludogorets Razgrad

With the visitors missing a couple of key players and likely to be forced into chasing the tie at some point, we expect Dinamo Zagreb to progress.

The Croatians have superior quality and experience at this level than their forthcoming opponents, and it would be a surprise if they do not use this to their advantage in front of a home crowd, having already secured an away victory against them.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Ferencvaros vs. Qarabag FK (Tuesday, 7.00pm)

Ferencvaros' Myrto Uzuni celebrates scoring their first goal with teammates on September 30, 2021© Reuters

Evenly poised after a 1-1 draw in the first leg, Ferencvaros and Qarabag FK resume their battle for place in the Champions League playoff round on Tuesday evening.

The teams reconvene in Budapest, to decide their third qualifying round tie, and both have already started the defence of their domestic crown by winning their opening league game.

We say: Ferencvaros 2-1 Qarabag FK A.E.T. (Ferencvaros win 3-2 on aggregate)

The combination of home advantage and the wily management of their coach should see Ferencvaros over the line in this well-matched contest, but they may require an extra 30 minutes to get there due to Qarabag's ability to fight back from behind.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.

PSV vs. Monaco (Tuesday, 7.30pm)

Monaco's Kevin Volland celebrates scoring their second goal with teammates on March 20, 2022© Reuters

Following a tightly-contested 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Champions League third-round qualifying tie, PSV Eindhoven and Monaco reconvene for the second leg at the Philips Stadion on Tuesday.

Both sides kicked off their domestic campaigns with victories at the weekend and will face off to meet either Rangers or Union SG for a spot in the group stage.

We say: PSV Eindhoven 1-2 Monaco (Monaco win 3-2 on aggregate)

Both managers could afford to rest key names at the weekend, but both must also work around a number of injury concerns for the second leg, which should prove to be another tense and closely-fought affair.

The returns of Golovin and Volland with fresh legs in tow could just tip the balance in Monaco's favour, especially as Clement's side have not shied away from a shot so far this season, and victory should be theirs if they can bury said chances at the Phillips Stadion.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Rangers vs. Union SG (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

Rangers' Antonio Colak celebrates scoring their first goal with John Lundstram on July 23, 2022© Reuters

Rangers have a mountain to climb in the second leg of their Champions League third qualifying round contest with Union SG, having suffered a 2-0 defeat in the first leg last week.

Teddy Teuma and Dante Vanzeir were on the scoresheet for the Belgian outfit, who will be looking to protect their advantage when they make the trip to Glasgow.

We say: Rangers 2-1 Union SG (Union SG 3-2 on aggregate)

Rangers are more than capable of turning this tie around in front of their own supporters, and the contest could quite easily head for extra-time. Union SG were so impressive in the first leg, though, and we believe that the Belgian outfit will just have enough to advance to the playoff round of the tournament.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 1.5 goals.
