Everton 'preparing Alfredo Morelos move'

Everton are preparing a summer move for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos, according to a report.

Everton are reportedly lining up a summer move for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.

The Colombia international has enjoyed another impressive campaign for the Gers, scoring 29 times and providing 10 assists in 46 appearances in all competitions.

The 24-year-old has a contract at Ibrox until the end of the 2022-23 season, but the speculation surrounding a potential summer exit has gathered pace in recent weeks.

According to Arena Napoli, Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti is 'focusing' on Morelos and wants to bring him to Goodison Park ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

The South American has been a prolific goalscorer for Rangers since arriving from HJK Helsinki in the summer of 2017, scoring 77 times in 137 appearances in all competitions.

West Ham United and Leicester City have also previously been credited with an interest.
