Romelu Lukaku desperate for silverware

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku admits that he is desperate to start winning silverware.

Everton striker Romelu Lukaku has claimed that it is now time for him to start winning silverware.

The Belgium international joined the Toffees from Chelsea last summer for a club-record £28m.

Despite a disappointing campaign for Everton during the 2014-15 season, Lukaku admits that it is the right time to start building up his medal collection.

"I want to win titles, not just be shadowing at the top," he told Sport Voetbal. "I want to know how it feels to play in the big games. I'm 22. It's time to win trophies."

Lukaku scored 20 goals in 48 appearances for Everton last season.
