Espanyol denied first victory late on in draw with Malaga

Espanyol and Malaga play out an entertaining 2-2 draw at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat as Duda scores late on to rescue Javi Garca's side a La Liga point.

Espanyol remain winless in La Liga following a dramatic 2-2 draw against Malaga at the Estadi Cornella-El Prat.

The hosts made a positive start to the game and they edged ahead on 16 minutes when Felipe Caicedo found the net with a low shot beyond Carlos Kameni.

It took until the 53rd minute before Malaga could draw level, with the goal coming courtesy of Ignacio Camacho, who jumped highest to head home Luis Alberto's corner.

Two minutes from time, Lucas found the net to regain the Periquitos' advantage with a perfectly-executed free kick, but Duda converted one of his own to rescue Javi Garcia's side a point at the death.
