Fernando Torres starts for Chelsea against Bayern Munich in the UEFA Super Cup tonight.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has included striker Fernando Torres in the starting lineup for his side's UEFA Super Cup clash against Bayern Munich.

The Spain international will be deployed as the lone striker up front for last season's Europa League winners, with Andre Schurrle, Oscar and Eden Hazard playing behind him.

Frank Lampard and Ramires both start in central midfield, while David Luiz returns to the defence.

Meanwhile, Bayern coach Pep Guardiola has named a strong attacking lineup for tonight's clash, Mario Mandzukic, Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben all starting in attack.

Chelsea: Cech; Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole; Ramires, Lampard; Schurrle, Oscar, Hazard; Torres

Bayern Munich: Neuer; Rafinha, Dante, Boateng, Alaba; Kroos, Lahm, Muller; Robben, Mandzukic, Ribery
