Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Newcastle United

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Tuesday's EFL Cup quarter-final with Newcastle United.

Chelsea will endeavour to advance to the semi-finals of the EFL Cup when Newcastle United travel to Stamford Bridge on Tuesday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino's troops lifted some of the pressure off their manager's shoulders with a routine 2-0 beating of Sheffield United on Saturday, as Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson struck after the half-time interval.

The victory has temporarily propelled Chelsea up to 10th place in the Premier League standings, although results on Sunday could potentially push them down into the bottom half again.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their showdown with the Magpies, who bounced back from their European exit by seeing off 10-man Fulham 3-0 at the weekend.
