Adam le Fondre rescues point for Bolton Wanderers

Adam le Fondre's equaliser cancels out Frederic Bulot's opener as Bolton Wanderers draw with Charlton Athletic in the Championship.

Adam le Fondre cancelled out Frederic Bulot's opener as Bolton Wanderers drew with Charlton Athletic in the Championship this evening.

Bulot got Charlton off to the perfect start, volleying into the bottom left corner after good work from Chris Solly.

Bolton responded well, with Le Fondre seeing his shot blocked by Alou Diarra after Rochinha fed him through.

Charlton keeper Stephen Henderson was on hand to preserve Charlton's lead, denying Barry Bannan's curling effort before rushing out to stop Le Fondre again.

After half time, Bannan attempted another curler from the edge of the box, but this time it went narrowly over the bar as Bolton pushed for a leveller.

The home side's pressure eventually told, with Le Fondre grabbing the equaliser after finding himself one on one with Henderson after Bannan's through-ball.

Bolton continued to press as they searched for the winner, and almost stole it at the death, but Liam Feeney fired just over to ensure Charlton left with a point.

The draw leaves Bolton 17th in the table and Charlton sitting in 12th.
