Cardiff City boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says that Steven Caulker is free to join Queens Park Rangers if he wants to.

Cardiff City manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that Steven Caulker is free to join Queens Park Rangers if he wants to.

The Championship club, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, have agreed a fee with QPR for the defender.

"It's up to Steven if he goes," Solskjaer told The Express.

"Of course the lure of the Premier League might be too much for us to hope he might stay here. He has to make that decision."

Caulker joined Cardiff from Tottenham Hotspur last summer.
