Team News: Five changes for Napoli ahead of Cagliari clash

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez makes five changes to the team that thumped Wolfsburg 4-1 for their Serie A trip to Cagliari as Lorenzo Insigne and Gokhan Inler start.

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez has made five changes to the team that thumped Wolfsburg 4-1 in the Europa League on Thursday night for their Serie A trip to Cagliari.

Lorenzo Insigne replaces Dries Mertens on the left-hand side and Walter Gargano, Jorginho, Kalidou Koulibaly and Ivan Strinic also make the starting XI.

Miguel Britos, Faouzi Ghoulam, Gokhan Inler and David Lopez see their way out of the Partenopei side.

Gonzalo Higuain, Marek Hamsik and Jose Callejon all keep their place in the starting lineup after putting on an impressive attacking display in Germany.

Cagliari manager Zdenek Zeman makes just one alteration to the side that lost 2-0 to Genoa in the league last Saturday as Daniele Conti replaces Lorenzo Crisetig in midfield.

Cagliari: Brkic, Balzano, Rossettini, Ceppitelli, Avelar, Ekdal, Conti, Dessena, Farias, Sau, Mpoku

Napoli: Andujar, Maggio, Albiol, Koulibaly, Strinic, Jorginho, Gargano, Callejon, Insigne, Hamsik, Higuain
