Sports Mole previews the action from this weekend's Championship showdown between Watford and Burnley at Turf Moor.

Watford head into this weekend's Championship showdown at Burnley with a slender grip on the playoff places.

Defeat for Gianfranco Zola's side would almost certainly see them surrender their place in the top six with seventh-placed Millwall breathing down their necks.

Victory for Burnley could lift them into the top half of the table, but Sean Dyche's side have been inconsistent of late, with just one win in six.

The match will be of particular significance to Dyche, who was sacked by Watford over the summer despite leading the club to its highest league finish in four seasons.

Neither side has any fresh injury concerns ahead of the game.

Recent form

Burnley: LLWDDL

Watford: WWDWWL

Possible lineups

Burnley: Grant; Trippier, Duff, Shackell, Mills; Bartley, McCann, Stock, Wallace; Austin, Paterson

Watford: Almunia; Ekstrand, Hall, Hoban; Cassetti, Yeates, Chalobah, Hogg, Pudil, Deeney, Vydra

Sports Mole says: 1-2
