Braga, Arouca play out goalless draw in Primeira Liga

Portuguese side Braga move into fourth spot in the Primeira Liga table after earning a point from a goalless draw at home to Arouca at the Estadio Municipal de Braga.

Braga continued their positive start to the new Primeira Liga season by earning a point from a goalless draw against visiting side Arouca this evening.

The home side started positively and they came closest in the first half when Luiz Carlos teamed up with Ahmed Hassan, but there was no way past Rafael Bracali in the visiting goal.

Neither side was able to muster much in either final third in a tight second period, leaving both teams to settle for a point at the Estadio Municipal de Braga.

Braga's first draw of the season moves them up into fourth position in the league standings beyond Benfica, while Arouca currently occupy ninth spot on 10 points.
