Team News: Thomas Ince, Jason Shackell handed Derby County starts at Bolton Wanderers

New signings Thomas Ince and Jason Shackell start for Derby County away at Bolton Wanderers.

Derby County head coach Paul Clement has handed four players their debut away at Bolton Wanderers on the opening weekend of the new season.

Thomas Ince and Jason Shackell, who have both returned to the club, are named in the starting XI along with goalkeeper Scott Carson and defender Chris Baird, who has been given the captain's armband.

Striker Darren Bent, who has also joined on a permanent deal, has been named on the bench.

Bolton are without injured centre-backs Tim Ream and David Wheater, while Derek Osdede also misses out.

However, Prince-Desir Gouano makes his debut at centre-back, alongside Dorian Dervite, while Gary Madine makes his first start in attack.

Bolton Wanderers: Amos, Wilson, Prince, Dervite, Moxey, Spearing, Pratley, Danns, Feeney, Clough, Madine.
Subs: Fitzsimons, Vela, Davies, Trotter, Heskey, Dobbie, Holding.

Derby County: Carson, Bryson, Keogh, Martin, Russell, Baird, Shackell, Hughes, Ince, Thorne, Warnock.
Subs: Grant, Forsyth, Hendrick, Bent, Pearce, Weimann, Shotton.
