Bolton Wanderers held by Millwall

Bolton Wanderers and Millwall both fail to add to their first-half penalties and are forced to share the points at the Reebok this afternoon.

Bolton Wanderers and Millwall shared a pair of penalties and the points in an even Championship clash this afternoon.

Millwall went ahead when Andy Keogh was fouled in the penalty area, with the striker getting up to convert from the spot to score after nine minutes.

The home side responded strongly and were awarded a penalty of their own on 33 minutes when Danny Shittu was penalised for a foul in the box.

Keith Andrews coolly converted to draw Bolton level at the break.

Bolton took control of the match in the second half and substitute Benik Afobe looked lively in the closing stages, but neither side could find a late winner.

Kenny Jackett's side stayed strong in added time to take home the point their early play merited on a frustrating afternoon for the home side.
