Darren Pratley unconcerned by Bolton Wanderers scoring record

Bolton Wanderers skipper Darren Pratley claims that his side's ability to create chances stands them in good stead to improve on their poor goalscoring record.

Darren Pratley has insisted that he is confident Bolton Wanderers will soon find their scoring touch on a consistent basis.

Only Preston North End have scored fewer goals than the Trotters' paltry tally of nine across the opening 10 games of the season.

Five of those goals have come in Wanderers' last two outings, however, which Pratley believes offers plenty of hope heading into the next run of fixtures.

"I have been watching from the sidelines and the boys have been creating chances," he is quoted as saying by The Bolton News. "It's not like they haven't been creating chances, they were just not putting them away.

"Hopefully that will change now going forward. The problem at the minute is at the other end where we score three away from home and lose. But we are a team and we all lose together just like we all win together."

Bolton, who take on local rivals Burnley in their next league match, find themselves inside the relegation zone following what has been a slow start to the season.
