Saturday's Bundesliga predictions including Stuttgart vs. Bayern Munich

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Bundesliga fixtures, including Stuttgart vs. Bayern Munich.

Union Berlin vs. FC Koln (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Union Berlin will be looking to bounce back from a 3-0 defeat to Bundesliga title rivals Bayern Munich when they host FC Koln on Saturday afternoon.

Urs Fischer's side now find themselves three points behind Bayern and Borussia Dortmund, while Koln sit 12th – 17 points behind Union – following back-to-back losses.

We say: Union Berlin 2-0 FC Koln

In addition to suffering two straight losses, FC Koln have failed to score in four of their previous five outings, putting Union Berlin in pole position to claim all three points on Saturday.

Given that last weekend's defeat was Union's first since November, the Irons Ones should return to winning ways on home soil, keeping a clean sheet in the process.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Mainz vs. Hoffenheim (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Mainz 05 will be aiming to extend their winning streak in the Bundesliga to four matches when they host Hoffenheim on Saturday.

The visitors, meanwhile, have lost five successive games to fall into the bottom three of the table.

We say: Mainz 05 2-0 Hoffenheim

On current form there is only likely to be one winner at the MEWA Arena on Saturday, and we expect Mainz to live up to their recent performances by securing another victory.

Unless they can drastically turn things around, Hoffenheim look like a side destined to suffer their first-ever relegation from the Bundesliga this season.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Borussia M'bach vs. Freiburg (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Freiburg will be aiming to return to winning ways as they look to move back into the top four of the Bundesliga with a positive result against Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday.

The hosts will be determined to bounce back themselves after being humbled 4-0 away to Mainz 05 last weekend.

We say: Borussia Monchengladbach 1-1 Freiburg

Gladbach have proven themselves to be a much more effective team on their home patch under Farke's stewardship, and we can envisage a share of the spoils at Borussia-Park on Saturday.

Freiburg are a dangerous team in transition and will be happy for the hosts to have the majority of the ball, with both managers unlikely to be too disappointed if their side can avoid defeat.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

VfL Bochum vs. Schalke (Saturday, 2.30pm)

The Bundesliga's bottom two sides go head-to-head when VfL Bochum host Schalke 04 on Saturday.

The visitors are unbeaten in their last five matches, though, and would move off the foot of the table should they be able to secure an away win.

We say: VfL Bochum 0-0 Schalke 04

There is likely to be plenty of edge within this game considering both team's positions in the table and Reis' added motivation to secure revenge on the club which sacked him earlier this season, but it may be lacking quality at times.

With the visitors involved in goalless draws in four of their last five matches, it would not be a surprise to see a similar outcome on Saturday, with both managers likely to be petrified of losing.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Augsburg vs. Werder Bremen (Saturday, 2.30pm)

Two of the Bundesliga's most inconsistent teams face off in Bavaria on Saturday, with Augsburg entertaining Werder Bremen at the WWK Arena.

Having struggled for stability throughout the campaign, the hosts find themselves five points clear of the bottom three, while Werder lead Augsburg by six points.

We say: Augsburg 1-0 Werder Bremen

Augsburg have upped their game at the WWK Arena of late, meaning that Maassen's men should give Werder Bremen a run for their money on Saturday.

Having claimed three successive 1-0 victories on home soil, Augsburg look set to edge out Werder, who are on course to suffer a fifth defeat in six away outings.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Stuttgart vs. Bayern (Saturday, 5.30pm)

Bayern Munich will be aiming to end the weekend at the top of the Bundesliga table after visiting Stuttgart on Saturday evening.

The hosts, meanwhile, head into the weekend's action outside of the relegation zone on goal difference only.

We say: Stuttgart 0-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern may have one eye on their second leg against PSG on Tuesday, but they should still have far too much quality for struggling Stuttgart in the Bundesliga's Saturday night slot.

The Bavarians are being pushed hard by Dortmund at the top of the table, and they will be determined to keep ahead of their title rivals before facing them after the international break.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
