Thursday's La Liga predictions including Real Sociedad vs. Barcelona

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's La Liga fixtures, including Real Sociedad vs. Barcelona.

Levante vs. Sevilla (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Two teams in need of the points but for very different reasons will lock horns in La Liga on Thursday evening, as Levante welcome Sevilla to Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

Levante are currently 19th in the table, four points behind 17th-placed Granada on the same number of games (32), while Sevilla sit third, just three points clear of fifth-placed Real Betis.

We say: Levante 1-2 Sevilla

Levante's recent results will have given them a lot of confidence, but Sevilla are also fighting for the points in order to stay in the top four, and we believe that the visitors will shade a close match on Thursday night.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Espanyol vs. Rayo Vallecano (Thursday, 6.00pm)

Rayo Vallecano will be looking to ease their relegation fears in La Liga when they make the trip to RCDE Stadium on Thursday evening to take on Espanyol.

The away side are currently 14th in the table, five points clear of the relegation zone, while Espanyol occupy 12th spot in Spain's top flight, 10 points ahead of the bottom three with six games left.

We say: Espanyol 2-1 Rayo Vallecano

Rayo are more than capable of making this an uncomfortable match for Espanyol, who were so close to claiming a point at Atletico on Sunday. However, the capital outfit have struggled away from home for much of the season, and we are expecting Espanyol to put another three points on the board here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Cadiz vs. Athletic Bilbao (Thursday, 7.00pm)

Cadiz will be looking to make it back-to-back wins in La Liga when they welcome Athletic Bilbao to Nuevo Mirandilla on Thursday night.

The home side, who are now 16th in the table, will enter the contest off the back of a 1-0 victory over Barcelona on Monday, while Athletic suffered a 2-0 defeat to Celta Vigo on Sunday.

We say: Cadiz 1-1 Athletic Bilbao

Cadiz's win over Barcelona would have done so much for their confidence, and they will fancy their chances of causing Athletic problems on Thursday. The Basque outfit do not often lose on their travels, but they have not won too many either, so we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw here.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 2.5 goals.

Real Sociedad vs. Barcelona (Thursday, 8.30pm)

Barcelona will be bidding to return to winning ways in La Liga when they make the trip to top-four rivals Real Sociedad on Thursday night.

The Catalan outfit are currently second in the table, 15 points behind leaders Real Madrid, while Real Sociedad are fifth, five points behind fourth-placed Atletico Madrid in the race for the Champions League spots.

We say: Real Sociedad 1-1 Barcelona

Barcelona will be desperate to return to winning ways on Thursday evening, but Real Sociedad are a team to be taken extremely seriously, especially on home soil. The Basque outfit will also be the fresher of the two sides, so we have had to settle on a low-scoring draw, which would further open up the top-four race.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
