Juanlu's injury-time winner gives Levate a 1-0 win over ten-man Athletic Bilbao in this evening's La Liga clash.

A late injury-time goal secured all three points for Levante in their 1-0 win over Athletic Bilbao this evening.

The first half was uneventful, with no real chances or efforts on goal at either end.

Iker Muniain had the first notable effort on goal after 60 minutes, but his right-footed strike was well saved by the keeper.

Two minutes later, frustrations boiled over and Muniain was shown a straight red card for violent conduct by the referee, leaving Athletic Club with ten men for the last half hour.

Ibai Gomez came close from a free kick on 75 minutes as the home side continued to press, despite their numerical disadvantage.

Levante broke on 84 minutes, resulting in a chance for Juanlu, though he could not hit the target.

Juanlu did grab the winner in injury time to secure all three points for Levante.
