Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly happy to sanction the departures of Alexandre Lacazette, Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles this summer.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is reportedly ready to do away with Alexandre Lacazette, Reiss Nelson and Ainsley Maitland-Niles in the current transfer window.

A significant summer of change has already begun in North London, with Matteo Guendouzi confirming his imminent departure while Granit Xhaka is believed to be edging closer towards a move to Roma.

Dani Ceballos and Martin Odegaard will not be returning having rejoined Real Madrid following their loan spells, but the Gunners are expected to complete deals for Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga in the coming days.

Now, Sky Sports News reports that Lacazette, Nelson and Maitland-Niles are all on the chopping block, and the former will be allowed to leave for the right price given that his contract is due to expire in 2022.

Maitland-Niles spent the second half of the 2020-21 season on loan at West Bromwich Albion and has affirmed that he is ready to depart unless he is given assurances over his game time, while Nelson only featured eight times under Arteta last season.

Out-of-favour defender William Saliba is also reported to be closing in on a loan move to Marseille, and Arsenal are supposedly ready to come back with a third offer for Brighton & Hove Albion's Ben White.
