Arsenal could reportedly look to cash in on William Saliba as the 20-year-old feels 'unappreciated' by Mikel Arteta following three loan spells away from the club.

Arsenal defender William Saliba could reportedly be sold before making his senior debut for the Gunners.

The 20-year-old has been shipped out on loan three times to Saint-Etienne, Nice and Marseille after failing to get a look-in under Mikel Arteta so far since his arrival.

Saliba is currently thriving under the tutelage of Jorge Sampaoli at Marseille, although his loan deal with Les Olympiens does not include an option to buy.

However, The Sun claims that Saliba now believes his future lies away from the Emirates, and Arsenal may now be forced to cash in on the France Under-21 international.

The report adds that Saliba feels unappreciated by Arteta after only making fleeting appearances for the club's Under-23s so far, and he is still aggrieved at not being able to play for Saint-Etienne in the 2019-20 Coupe de France final.

Saliba has played the full 90 minutes in nine Ligue 1 games already this term, and his contract with Arsenal does not expire until 2024.
