Team News: Arsenal new boys start against Crystal Palace

Arsene Wenger names new signings Alexis Sanchez, Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy in Arsenal's first XI for the visit of Crystal Palace.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has named new boys Alexis Sanchez, Calum Chambers and Mathieu Debuchy in his first XI for this evening's visit of managerless Crystal Palace.

The Emirates Stadium plays host as the Gunners get their Premier League campaign underway, with three of their recruits in a spending spree totalling £66m making their competitive debuts.

Sanchez, the bulk of that figure at £35m, starts in a front three along with striker Yaya Sanogo, who is given the nod ahead of Olivier Giroud, and Santi Cazorla.

Chambers and Debuchy form half of the Arsenal defence alongside Laurent Koscielny and Kieran Gibbs as Wenger's side look to kickstart their season with a bang.

The Eagles, meanwhile, travel to the north of the capital with Keith Millen in charge following the shock exit of Tony Pulis on Thursday.

Arsenal old boy Marouane Chamakh spearheads Palace's attack along with new signing Fraizer Campbell.

Meanwhile, fellow summer recruits Martin Kelly and Brede Hangeland line up in defence.
