Sevilla won their third straight La Liga game by seeing off Almeria in this afternoon's match at Juegos Mediterraneos.

The visitors took the lead just past the half-hour mark when Carlos Bacca found the net from the left side of the penalty area after collecting Kevin Gameiro's pass.

Soon after half time, Almeria's Angel Trujillo almost levelled but could only shoot wide from close range.

They were punished for that miss when Daniel Carrico prodded home a couple of minutes later from a corner.

Sevilla put the result beyond doubt 13 minutes from time when Gameiro tucked home Ivan Rakitic's centre from a couple of yards out.

Almeria scored a late consolation in the 85th minute through Aleix Vidal after a swift counter-attack.
