Team News: Robinho starts for AC Milan, Alessandro Matri on bench

AC Milan swap Stephan El Shaarawy for Robinho for tonight's Serie A clash with Cagliari.

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has brought Robinho into his starting XI for tonight's match at home to Cagliari Calcio, while Alessandro Matri could make his debut from the bench.

Matri completed a move from Juventus less than 48 hours ago but goes straight into the squad, with Giampaolo Pazzini out injured.

With Kevin-Prince Boateng departing for Schalke, there is a different look to Milan's side tonight, as Robinho replaces Stephan El Shaarawy, who drops to the bench.

Urby Emanuelson also comes in at full-back following last week's defeat at Hellas Verona, meaning that Kevin Constant loses his place in the side.

Cagliari have left Davide Astori on the bench tonight for the second match running, fuelling rumours that he could leave the club before the transfer window closes.

Milan: Abbiati, Abate, Mexes, Zapata, Emanuelson, Poli, De Jong, Muntari, Montolivo, Robinho, Balotelli

Cagliari: Agazzi, Dessena, Ariaudo, Rossettini, Murru, Nainggolan, Conti, Ekdal, Cabrera, Pinilla, Sau
