Aberdeen record their first SPL win in five matches with a narrow 1-0 victory over Dundee at Pittodrie.

Aberdeen have picked up their first Scottish Premier League win in five matches with a 1-0 victory over Dundee at Pittodrie.

Craig Brown's side have moved up to fifth place in the table thanks to the narrow triumph over the league's bottom-placed side.

The only goal of the game came with 18 minutes on the clock thanks to Niall McGinn's effort.

The result has seen Dundee stay bottom of the standings, 15 points from safety.
