Matty Lee scoops gold for Great Britain by winning the men's platform final at the European Games in Baku.

Matty Lee has followed compatriot Katherine Torrance by winning gold for Great Britain in diving today at the European Games in Baku.

The 17-year-old posted a winning score of 588.25 to clinch gold in the men's platform final in Azerbaijan.

Lee edged out Russia's Nikita Shleikher (556.55) and French diver Alexis Jandard (526.20) in second and third respectively.

Matthew Dixon missed out on a podium finish by posting a fourth-best 493.85.

Lee's gold is Britain's eighth of the games thus far, after 16-year-old Torrance made it seven by winning the women's 3m springboard final earlier on Sunday.
