Pakistan have added 126 runs to their total after lunch against Bangladesh to reach tea on day one of the second Test in Dhaka on 196-2.
The tourists began the afternoon session on 70-2 after making a slow start and losing the wickets of openers Mohammad Hafeez and Sami Aslam.
Younis Khan and Azhar Ali began the session in the middle and they immediately set about increasing the run rate.
The plan worked, as the pair notched up half-centuries each on their way to a partnership of 127, which has taken Pakistan to within four runs of the 200 mark.
Ali hit nine boundaries as he moved onto 85 not out at tea, while Khan contributed eight fours and one six as he notched up 78 off 104 balls.
