Two Pakistan wickets fall to Bangladesh before lunch on day one of second Test

Pakistan lose two wickets in the morning session as they reach lunch on 70-2 against Bangladesh on day one of the second Test.

Pakistan openers Mohammad Hafeez and Sami Aslam fell to Bangladesh in the morning session on day one of the second Test in Dhaka after they were put into bat.

The tourists currently sit on 70-2 following a slow start to the day, which witnessed the early dismissal of Hafeez.

The 34-year-old mustered just eight runs from 16 balls before he edged into the hands of Mushfiqur Rahim off Mohammad Shahid's delivery.

After the early wobble, Pakistan were able to recover through Aslam and Azhar Ali, but they took their time totting up runs as Bangladesh's bowlers attempted to frustrate them.

Taijul Islam claimed his first wicket of the innings by taking out Aslam (19), whose shot fell into the arms of Shahadat Hossain inside the 23rd over.

Ali (36*) and Younis Khan (1*) will return to the crease for the afternoon session.
