Live Commentary: Olympic boxing - day 13 as it happened

Sports Mole's live text commentary of day 13 of the Olympic boxing at London 2012.

Hello and welcome to Sports Mole's live text commentary of day 13 of the Olympic boxing at London 2012.

Today is an historic occasion at the ExCel Centre, where the first women will be crowned as Olympic boxing champions of their respective weight classes.

Team GB's Nicola Adams is up first in the flyweight division. She takes on China's Ren Cancan for the chance to make history as the first female boxing gold medallist.

Then, Ireland's Katie Taylor clashes with Sofya Ochigava of Russia in the final of the lightweight tournament. Taylor brings with her an army of Irish fans who will be cheering her every punch.

Finally, Claressa Shields will be looking to show the United States' men's team how it's done by beating Russian middleweight Nadezda Torlopova in today's final gold medal bout.
