Usain Bolt: "I'm not a legend yet"

Sprinter Usain Bolt says he is not a legend yet, despite winning the 200m gold at the world championships in Daegu, South Korea.

Sprinter Usain Bolt says he is not a legend yet, despite winning the 200m gold at the world championships in Daegu, South Korea.

The Jamaican beat his nearest competitor, USA's Walter Dix, by 0.3secs to post a time of 19.40, but says he needs to win in London to be considered one of the greats.

"I'm not a legend yet," said the 25-year-old. "I'm on my way, but I've got to go to London and blow people's minds, to go to the Olympics and do something extraordinary."

It was Bolt's first gold medal of the championships after he false-started in the 100m final on August 28, but he says the disqualification is behind him.

"I made a mistake but I came back to show the world that I'm still the best," he added.

The world record holder's next appearance at the games is in the 4x100m relay on Sunday.
