Men's downhill delayed at Sochi Games

The start of the men's downhill skiing at the 2014 Winter Olympics is delayed by 15 minutes.

The start of the men's downhill skiing at the 2014 Winter Olympics has been delayed by 15 minutes this morning.

The event was originally scheduled to start at 7am GMT, but it now appears that it will not go ahead until 7.15am at the earliest.

The reason for the delay has not been stated by the Sochi officials.

Steven Nyman of the USA will be the first to race.
