The start of the Olympic men's biathlon 15km mass start event at the Sochi Games is been postponed until Monday due to bad weather.

The start of the men's biathlon 15km mass start event at the Sochi Games has been postponed until Monday due to bad weather.

The competition, originally scheduled to take place today at 3pm GMT, was initially postponed because of cloud and fog, but has had to be switched over to a different day as conditions did not improve in time.

The new start time for the event at the Laura Biathlon & Ski Complex will be tomorrow at 6:30am GMT.

Norway's Ole Einar Bjoerndalen will become the most decorated Winter Olympian if he wins a medal in the event, which will take his tally to 13.
