Lizzy Yarnold to carry Great Britain flag at Sochi closing ceremony

Lizzy Yarnold has been confirmed as Great Britain's flag bearer at the closing ceremony of the Sochi Winter Olympics.

The 25-year-old, who won the gold medal in the women's skeleton event eight days ago, has been given the honour to carry her nation's flag at the Games' epilogue, according to BBC Sport.

Short track speed skater Jon Eley was Team GB's flagbearer at the Sochi opening ceremony.
