Murray to face Llodra in US Open

US Open champion Andy Murray will begin the defence of his US Open trophy with a first-round match against Michael Llodra.

The Scotsman, who has been drawn in the same half as world number one Novak Djokovic, will take on the Frenchman, whom he has met three times in his career and come out on top in every occasion.

Rafael Nadal, who recently took Murray's world number two ranking, has been drawn American Ryan Harrison, while last year's finalist Djokovic will take on Ricardas Berankis.

Due to the draw, a potential quarter-final match awaits Nadal and seventh seed Roger Federer, if the pair make it to the final eight.
