British women face tough US Open draw

Britain's women have been handed tough draws ahead of next week's US Open at Flushing Meadows.

Anne Keothavong will meet Germany's Angelique Kerber in round one, while Heather Watson takes on recent Cincinnati Open winner Li Na.

Laura Robson has been pitted against a qualifier in the opening round but could play three-time champion Kim Clijsters in round two.

The US Open will be Clijsters's last Grand Slam before she retires at the end of the year.
