Richard Gasquet secures a come-from-behind victory over Robin Haase to progress to the second round of the Swiss Indoors tournament.

Richard Gasquet came from a set down to defeat Robin Haase and advance to the second round of the Swiss Indoors tournament in Basel this evening.

The world number 13 triumphed 4-6 6-3 6-2 to claim his second straight victory over the Dutchman after also beating him at the London 2012 Olympics.

Haase, who is ranked 36 places below his French opponent, surprisingly took the first set due to a solitary break of serve.

However, Gasquet responded by showing some of the form which saw him win the ATP competition in Thailand back in September.

He took just 33 minutes to oust Haase in both of the following sets, crucially breaking in games three and seven of the decider to secure victory.
