Serena Williams defeats Sorana Cirstea to win her third Rogers Cup title in Canada.

Serena Williams has beaten Sorana Cirstea 6-2 6-0 to be crowned 2013 Rogers Cup champion in Toronto.

The 16-time Grand Slam winner completely dominated the contest, wrapping up victory in just over an hour at Rexall Centre.

Williams broke the Romanian three times in the first set, before whitewashing the second to record her third title in Canada.

Cirstea beat Caroline Wozniacki, Jelena Jankovic, Petra Kvitova, and Li Na en route to the final, but found the American to be a bridge too far.
