Janko Tipsarevic into Rogers Cup semi-finals in Montreal

Janko Tipsarevic has set up a semi-final encounter with Mardy Fish at the Montreal Masters after defeating Tomas Berdych in straight sets.

In an even first set, the Serb broke in the German's fifth service game, eventually running out 6-4 winner.

World number 24 Tipsarevic broke early in the second set before producing a series of strong service games to win 6-4 again and complete the win.
