Milos Raonic overcomes Mikhail Youzhny in Montreal

Milos Raonic has defeated Mikhail Youzhny is straight sets to reach the third round of the Rogers Cup in Montreal.

The Canadian saw off his opponent 6-4 6-4 in a match that lasted little over an hour to set up a clash with either Ivan Dodig or Juan Martin del Potro.

Raonic made short work of his Russian opponent, holding his serve throughout the match and landing one decisive break in each set.

Dodig and Del Potro meet in their second-round clash later this evening.
