Heather Watson dropped just three games on her way to securing a place in the final of the Monterry Open in Mexico.
The Brit broke France's Caroline Garcia on five separate occasions to record a 6-1 6-2 win.
"I was very happy with how I played today. I knew I was going to have to play well," the victorious Watson said during her post-match interview.
Standing in the 23-year-old's way of a third WTA title will be Belgium's Kirsten Flipkens, who is ranked 73rd in the world.
Flipkens beat Watson's compatriot Johanna Konta 6-3 (2)6-7 6-1 in the quarter-finals.
