Laura Robson cruises past Grace Min

Laura Robson has progressed into the second round of the AEGON Classic courtesy of a 6-4 6-1 win over Grace Min.

The early stages of the clash were fairly equal, with both competitors holding their serve well and launching a number of powerful shots across the court.

Despite a well-matched start, it was the 18-year-old Brit that managed to snatch the first break and go on to clinch a one-set lead in the first-round contest.

Robson carried her dominance into the second set, preventing her American opponent from causing an impact in the clash.

Despite Min's attempts at trying to force a comeback, it wasn't to be, and Robson secured a stage into the next round with a convincing victory.
