Dan Evans has capped off a terrific day for British men's tennis by winning the Knoxville Challenger.
Earlier on Sunday, Jamie Murray and partner John Peers won their first match at the ATP World Tour Finals before Kyle Edmund regained his place in the world's top 100 by picking up the Buenos Aires Challenger title.
That left Evans to make it three successes in the space of a few hours, but only after he had dropped the opening set against American teenager Frances Tiafoe, who is regarded as one of the future stars of the game.
However, the 17-year-old was unable to back up his performance in the opener as Evans stormed back with five breaks of serve to run out a 5-7 6-1 6-3 winner.
Victory for the 25-year-old will see him return to the world's top 200 on Monday, with the Birmingham-based player expected to move as high as 185.
