Raonic claims emphatic victory

Milos Raonic made light work of Guillaume Rufin in round two of the Miami Masters today.

The Canadian broke serve in the first game and raced into a 5-1 lead by dropping just two of the opening 12 points of the match.

Raonic sealed the first set after 25 minutes with his fifth ace of the match.

Rufin offered a sterner test in the second set but continued to struggle with his opponent's powerful serve.

A single break proved telling in the second set as Raonic wrapped up a 6-2 6-4 victory in just over 62 minutes.

American Sam Querrey awaits the big-serving Canadian in round three in a rematch of their semi-final at the San Jose Open last month.
