World number one Novak Djokovic brushes aside Tommy Robredo in Dubai

Novak Djokovic gets off to a flying start by taking just 66 minutes to claim a straight-sets win over Tommy Robredo in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

World number one tennis star Novak Djokovic has marked his return to action after a three-week break by sealing a comfortable victory over Tommy Robredo in the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Championships.

The Serbian, who won his fifth Australian Open title in January, took just 66 minutes to earn a 6-1 6-2 triumph in the second round of the competition.

Djokovic broke twice in the first set and came close to going a break up early in the second, but Robredo managed to hold on.

It did not get much better for the Spaniard, though, as he lost serve twice and Djokovic eased to victory.

The 11-time Grand Slam champion dropped just seven points on serve.
