Kei Nishikori sets up Miami Open final against Novak Djokovic

Nishikori to meet Djokovic in Miami final

Kei Nishikori booked his place in the final of the Miami Open with a straight-sets win over Nick Kyrgios on Friday.

The Japanese world number six will be up against top seed Novak Djokovic, who saw off David Goffin, in Sunday's final.

Nishikori first broke Kyrgios's serve in the third game and then did so again in the ninth to claim the opener 6-3, with the Australian rarely troubling his serve.

The second set was tighter as the two men exchanged early breaks before Nishikori prevented a tie-break by snapping the Kyrgios serve in the 12th game to come through 7-5.

Nishikori, who saved five match points in his quarter-final win over Gael Monfils, will be trying to deny Djokovic a record-equalling sixth Miami Open title.
