Li Na overcomes Caroline Wozniacki to reach semi-finals in Miami

Li Na has overcome Caroline Wozniacki 7-5 7-5 to reach the semi-finals of the Miami Masters.

The Australian Open champion rode her luck in the first set, striking 32 unforced errors, but doing just enough to edge out the Dane.

The deciding set was also evenly matched, but the Chinese turned up the tempo late on, winning the final four games to wrap up the contest.

This is the first time that Li has reached a Sony Open semi-final, a feat that sees her become the only woman to reach the last four at both Indian Wells and Miami this year.

Li will take on Dominika Cibulkova in the semi-finals, a repeat of the Australian Open final.
