Richard Gasquet eases through at Miami Masters

Richard Gasquet has moved into round three at the Miami Masters thanks to a straight-sets triumph over Olivier Rochus.

Both players struggled to hold serve in a scrappy first set, but eighth seed Gasquet broke for a third time to claim it 7-5.

However, the Frenchman was far superior in the second on his way to seeing off his Belgian opponent 6-2.

Gasquet will meet Mikhail Youzhny or Lu Yen-Hsun in the next stage of the tournament.
