Tomas Berdych breezes into final eight of Miami Masters

Tomas Berdych has secured a place in the quarter-finals of the Miami Masters courtesy of a 6-1 6-1 victory over Sam Querrey.

The US pro was unable to grab a hold of the game as Berdych snatched the first break, which enabled him to hold and push on to take a significant lead in the set.

Berdych's dominance on the court proved fruitful as he nabbed the opening set with ease and started strongly in the second by securing the first break of serve.

Querrey struggled to return his opponent's shots well as he relinquished another break to lose the game in Miami.
