Murray eases into last eight at Queen's

Andy Murray has progressed into the quarter-finals at Queen's with a straight-sets victory over Marinko Matosevic.

The top seed took just under an hour to defeat his Australian opponent, coming through 6-2 6-2.

Murray took control of the opening set, breaking Matosevic twice in successive games to move 4-1 ahead. Murray then held his serve to claim the set after just 26 minutes of play.

The Scot broke in the opening game of the second set before racing three games ahead.

Two unforced errors allowed Matosevic to break Murray in the sixth game, but Murray fought back with a break of his own before serving out the match.

The British number one will face Benjamin Becker in the last eight.
