Andy Murray upbeat ahead of grass-court season

Three-time champion Andy Murray believes that he is playing near his best as he prepares to get his grass-court season underway at Queen's tomorrow.

The world number three last won the Aegon Championship in 2013 prior to his victory at Wimbledon, and he hopes to repeat that double achievement.

He told The Telegraph: "I don't think I'm playing any worse than I was then. But things change very quickly in the space of a few days. No one would have thought that Stan [Wawrinka] was going to win in Paris. So there's no guarantees.

"Just because I'm playing well doesn't mean I'm going to play well in a few weeks, but likewise, if I play really badly here, it doesn't mean I can't have a great Wimbledon."

Murray will play Lu Yen-hsun in the opening round.
