Result: John Isner through to Paris Masters quarter-finals

John Isner has made it through to the quarter-finals of the Paris Masters with a straight-sets win against Feliciano Lopez.

In a hard-fought first set the world number 25 managed to edge out the Spaniard 6-4.

The second proved to be a more straightforward affair for the American as he claimed it 6-2.

Isner will now face another Spaniard, David Ferrer, for a place in the semi-finals.
